Empowering Lives Through Harm Reduction

Welcome to the Oklahoma Harm Reduction Alliance (OKHRA), a grassroots harm reduction organization providing education, recovery support, and low barrier access to life-saving supplies for people who use drugs (PWUD) in Oklahoma through online and in-person contact via outreach events.

Harm Reduction Program

A comprehensive harm reduction program focused on providing education, resources, mail-based distribution and support to promote safer substance use practices and reduce the negative consequences associated with drug use.

An extensive collection of harm reduction resources, including educational materials, workshops, and tools to support the well-being and safety of individuals who use drugs and the community.

Join us in our efforts to create a positive impact by volunteering for events, workshops, and outreach programs that aim to better organize and support harm reduction initiatives.

Services and Referrals Offered

  • Safe Kits for PWUD (People Who Use Drugs)

  • Naloxone distribution (overdose reversal medication)

  • Infectious Disease Screenings and Rerferrals

  • HIV, HCV, STI screenings and referrals

  • Safe Sex Kits

  • Way-finding and coordinated on-site or referral services to social services, behavioral health, and medical services, including wound care, hepatitis vaccination, and PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and more

  • Education and Referrals for specialized care

  • Syringe Cleanup Services as community service and contract services to support community health
